Does anyone make these or do you have any idea how to simulate them(for a tr24 specifically)? Something that is left on while shooting, not just a cover you take on and off. For reference I'm talking about the protective covers you can get for aimpoints like shown below. I'd like one or two to protect my Scopes from minor drops and banging into things. (ya I know it's basically aesthetics and improving resale value but if there's a simple solution why not, no need to figuratively throw my stuff down the driveway)

I do not know of any prefabricated rubber protective covers for scopes, but I've seen where some people use some sort of 'tool dip' to coat their buffer tubes on their AR Pistols. It might not be worth while doing, but here's a link. It's on the bottom of this page. The stuff evidently peels off when needed without leaving behind any marks or residue.

Prefabricated scope covers are likely not practical with all the different type of mounts that are available. Rings are spaced differently, shaped differently, wider or more narrow. There just isn't a 'normal' way of mounting.

Making a prefabricated rubber cover for the older Aimpoints are easy enough to design because a mount typically has either one vertical ring (like LaRue) or one horizontal ring like most other mounts. You don't see any protective covers for the CompM4 because they make 2 different versions of them (where the battery compartment is located).
