I currently have a 6-24x50 PST Vortex on my 18" POF 415. I also own a billet JP rifle. I mainly use my JP for long range varmint hunting, so I figure I would set my POF up for 100-200yrd kills etc. and Vortex looks to big on it anyways. So what's the best 1-4 or?? For the features and the $$$$??
Any opinions are welcome . I want a could scope with good glass that takes adjustments good. Brands I have in mind but if any others or any other xpower scopes I should look at let me know. Trijicon Vortex PST possibly Razor Burris XTR Leupolds ? Which models? Etc let me know what you guys think since I've never owned a 1-4 or anything like it . |

The VX-R line which has the patrol or go up to the mark 4 which used the same illuminated redicle. I own the vx-r and love it. Here is a good thread about it. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_18/569580_1_25_4_vxr_patrol__s.html I wouldn't drop below the vx-r line due the the tube size. Stay with the 30mm, in all pic which redicle you like and type of turrets you require. Pic oh my vx-r with LaRue LT-104
