Absolute Co Witness? or Lower 1/3 Co Witness? Which do you prefer and why? Discuss |
|
This is a question that comes up often, is really a personal choice to make (like Brunette, Blonde, or Redhead - and why).
Personally I prefer absolute co-witness, my hold is the same with all my rifles and this is fastest for me. Lower 1/3 means a different hold and a higher mount. It's not like I couldn't adjust to use lower 1/3, it's just not as natural/fast (to me). I set up 2 rifles identical at first, except one was absolute and one lower 1/3, I found absolute worked best for me. This is with me using BUIS that fold down for normal use. You need to try both to make your own decision, since both choices are valid. |

While I normally prefer a 1/3 cowitness, on the Micros I prefer an absolute due to the Micro's smaller FOV through the optic. Tomac |
