I've got a LaRue PoMan Magnifier behind an EOTech.
Question is: Am I the only one who finds the eye relief on the LaRue incredibly short? Does the Aimpoint magnifier have longer eye relief? I'm just trying to get a little more real estate behind my optics. Any suggestions? |

I have the Po' Boy on one rifle and the Aimpoint 3x on another.
The Aimpoint does seem like it has a bit more eye relief. Comparing back to back, you get a bit more room to play with from Aimpoint, but you still need to be up close for the full benefit of the thing (you don't have full field of view with your head way back on the stock, but you can see more from that position than you can with the modded Hensoldt). Generally, the Aimpoint is better all the way around, but then again, at what the thing costs, it had darn well better be. |
