I am looking to purchase my first magnified optic and have narrowed it down to two potential systems.  I have experience with the Trijicon ACOG's and have been impressed with the reviews for the Trijicon TA33R8 with red chevron reticle, but I have also been impressed with the quality of the glass on Valdada optics and have read good reviews for the Valdada QR-TS 3x25 Tactical with illuminated Daytime CQB reticle.  In comparing the spec sheets they appear very similar.  Any recommendations based on personal experience with one or both optics would be appreciated.

I love my TA33 for a GP type optic. Its compact, light weight, has good glass, good reticle, is bullet proof and can accept butler creek caps so I can use it as an occluded gun sight.

I have two TA33s, an -R8 and a -G-H and have been very happy with them both. The FOV was initially less than I was used to, but after some trigger time I found it to be a non issue. No experience with the Valdada, but the TA33 is a great "all purpose" optic in my opinion.

I've had an R8 for a couple of years and it's everything I hoped it would be.  You can't go wrong.

No input for the IOR QR-TS.
