Anyone have one? I ordered one with the red horseshoe (had trouble picking up the green one my dealer had in stock while looking into the light outside).

Do you like it? It may be the uber-reticle for an ACOG: quick to pick up, still has distance precision.

The red will be better than the green anyways. Green seems to disappear when used on target areas outdoors.

I traded off red for green finding it easier to pick up for me.....it is a different shade of green and I have yet to "loose it" against any shade of green including the intense greens
of spring time...

Love it except for the kinda short eye relief (but I knew that going in). Sometimes it'll tap my glasses shooting NTCH. The M4 reticle is perfectly calibrated for M193 out of a 16" barrel.

I just ordered a TA33 with the same reticule in green. I like the reticule style (almost the same as my TA44S) and either red or green works for me though green will be easier to pick up at night, with tritium illumination.

I have a TA11 red horseshoe. it does well at 200 to 300 yrds. not idea but certainly a good compromise reticle.  the cross hair might be best for longer range precision shooting but it is big enough to pick up quickly yet offers a better sight pic at range. i have a 12 x12 steel target set up at 280 yards at one of my shooting spots and by putting the center dot on the target i get hits every time.

the red blooms a lot in bright sun but a little tape on the fiber optic bar takes care of that if you need more precision at long range. green doesn't seem to have that problem but i still prefer red since the green gets lost easier in trees and bushes, IMO. not lost like you can't find it, just not as obvious as the red.

as a friend once told me; at the end of the day any  acog scope and reticle will get the job done better than no scope at all.
so i try not to spend too much time thinking about which is best and instead spend that time getting good with the one i have.
