Does anyone know when Trijicon started putting these on the ACOGS? Also does anyone know what they mean, My QR code reader can't read it.

It shows the Serial and Model when you bring it up. Its a Data Matrix two-dimensional barcode, which may be why your QR scanner cannot read it, as some won't read Data Matrix.
Should read - "679250TA31ECOS" if it were a TA31ECOS, and so forth. As for when they started putting them on the ACOG, I'm not totally sure. |

Data Matrix and QR codes, while similar looking, are different things. Military IUIDs use data matricies as a part of a program to streamline the supply system and inventorying, hence the IUID stickers used on most military hardware these days. ~Augee |
