Hey I am looking for my first scope and it will be on my first ar15. Its just a range gun. Im looking to shoot 100-300 yards. I was looking at the Nikon Prostaff Rifle Scope 4-12x 40mm Mil-Dot Reticle Matte from midwayusa its on sale for 175.what do you guys think? any better ideas? Im not trying to break the bank on my first scope.

Nikon prostaff is good bang for your buck. You should be happy with that

The Nikon Prostaff 4-12 is the scope I'm using on my Marlin 60. It is good glass for the money.

Burris TAC30 or spend a 100 more and get a Burris MTAC!

I love my TAC30! It is clean, durable, and looks amazing on my rifle!
