I have an Aimpoint H1 on my rifle right now and I love it.  But I kinda want to get a magnifier just for shooting at the range and maybe hunting.  Its not going to get enough use to justify spending $500.  So ive been looking around at some of the cheaper stuff.  What do y'all think of the Primary Arms model? I have heard great things about their red dots but not much about magnifiers.  Any other suggestions are welcome.  Links to threads about these would be great.  I searched a good bit and couldn't find anything.

Luke,

Take a look at the Vortex magnifier with swing mount.  Its a nice magnifier for a gret price.  It offers you windage and elevation adjustments as well so you just zero in your sight, then flip this in place, then adjust the magnifier to get you on your zero.  magnifiers that dont have windage and elevation adjusmnets can throw off your zero.  This model has the swing mount which is a great design:

I've heard good things about Primary Arms magnifiers....wouldn't mind trying one behind my EOTech.

And word to the wise - Before you order anything from Optics Planet, you may wanna ask if they have it in stock.  After *attempting* to place three different orders with them and being told all three times that each product wasn't in stock, I quit shopping their site...aside from being a complete waste of time, the worst part is that I used a debit card, so my money got tied up for a few days each time until the hold was released on my card.  Not sure if they're strictly a drop-shipper or what, but that was the impression I got.  Never again will they get my business.
