Anyone running the Vortex Viper PST 1-4 moa? thinking of putting one one my new SASS I'm building. Most of my other optics have been switched out to Night Force so I may be wasting my money. Any info would be great.

Isn't a SASS a long range precision setup? I think you would want at least a 10x scope. I built an ArmaLite AR-10 with a SASS barrel and mounted a Vortex Viper PST 4x16-50 that I am still growing into. Unless you have eagle eyes, the 1x4 will not keep up with your rifles potential.

The 1x4 Viper PST would be great on shorter range carbine, not a SASS.

I'm cutting the barrel to 18" just want a very accurate battle rifle. Will be using it out to about 5-600 yds. Then I'll switch to my 6.5x55 Savage with Night Force 5x22x56 NPR1

I have one on my LMT MRP, It's a great scope for the money but it's not a NF.

I just really like the moa reticle and there is not much out there.

If your are already a Nightforce user, the Vortex would be a major step down in optical quality and performance. Stick with Nightforce.
