[ARCHIVED THREAD] - elevated front sights

Tried a search but no luck.
I need buis for my AR. The front sight mounts to a railed gas block which is lower than the rail on top of the upper.
It seems no supliers talk about this and I cant find any.
Any ideas?

Goggle "gas block front sights" and you'll get a ton of hits. Just don't get a "same plane" sight.

You need a "gas block height front sight".

Fbuckshot ya beat me to it while I was looking up the proper term. Midway has a bunch of them, just for an example.

I know that YHM makes a gas-block riser to use quadrail-height sights.
