I have a 45 degree mount and a red dot sight. First I got a rail for my moe handguards and was gonna mount the sight to that, but figured it was too far. I ordered a offset to mout the sight to my upper but not sure if it's suppose to go in front or behind my scope.. Please help

Put it wherever works for you.  I have my micro behind my scope mount - but I don't run BUIS.

its not supposed to go anywhere other than a solid mounting point (which is not on MOE handguards FYI).  its supposed to go where YOU can use it. wheather its infront, behind, ontop, perpendicular to the scope, mounted on the 90 degree side of a quad rail, everyone has preferences.

No matter what you choose, DO NOT mount it on the MOE handguard.
