Those that mount it forward the delta ring...
What do you see as the advantage to this? Not bashing your decision at all... I'm more or less curious as a fellow 512 owner. I mount mine as far back as possible, close to the Rear Troy filp-up. I tried the forward mount once, didn't like it due to weight balance issues. |
| You can mount it up to the last slot that it will hold it technically and it should be fine. Do you run a rail or the factory plastic handguard? I like to run non magnified optics as close to the center of the rifle as possible....gives you good balance and a better view of you surroundings. |

M5 RAS handguard, im wanting to get a magnifier behind the eotech which requires it to be pretty far forward |
