Guys,

I have a quick Aimpoint question.  What is the rule for an Aimpoint marked "Made in Sweden" and a serial number "CompM ######"?  Everything I have read seems to point that this is US Gov't Property.  If so, I don't want a part in it.  But, I want to make sure before passing on one at a good price.

Thanks,
James

That's exactly how my M4s is marked that I bought last week from LaRue.

CompM4s Wxxxxxxx
Made In Sweden

I know there are export laws for optics, but I think most transfers are legal within the United States.

Okay, thanks.  Murphy's Law struck in the sense that as soon as I posted that message, I saw a video of one marked the same.  I guess I'm just cautious as I don't need "The Man" in my life.
