 Does anyone have any experience with the SR MicroSight? I know it was introduced about a year ago and is currently sold by several suppliers, including Creedmoors and Fulton Armory, and has been okay'ed for competition use by the NRA and CMP. As my eyes get older they have increasing trouble focusing and I'd like to know if the MicroSight may help. THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT.

| I didn't get any replies to my question, so I went ahead and ordered a MicroSight froom Creedmoor. It arrived a few days later and just screwed in the apature of my Bushmaster DCM/XR rear sight (1/4" x 28 tpi size). Having completed my first match with it I can say it definetely helps clear up the sight picture –– not quite as much as described in the literature, but a real improvement. Both the front sight and the target are much clearer than they were without the MicroSight. I should add that the manufacturer says it will only help if your distance vision (either natural or corrected) is normal or nearly so –– mine is, it's just my near vision that's off. |
