I just got a used comp m2 and have a couple of questions/issue's, if I turn the aimpoint to its highest setting, is the whole tube supposed to light, the dot gets brighter but there is a large outline of the tube in red, it does not do this at lower settings.
Also, I am having an issue zeroing it, but I think I can handle that, just wondering where at on the rail I should place the sight I had it all the way foward but couldn't get the dot on the paper until I moved the sight back, I was worried I would run out of adjustment if I left it forward. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

Does anyone have any suggestions? My M4 does this on the highest setting. It is like a halo reflecting off the edge of the scope. I have mine about 4-6 inches from the charging handle. J |
| Yeah, the Halo on the highest setting is normal. I mount mine as far forward on the RECEIVER as i can get it. If you feel like your elevation isn't offering enough adjustment, you can also try rotating the sight so that the battery compartment is at the upper left instead of the upper right |

Use a lower setting and your dot will look smaller and you will be able to hit better. Unless your rail is jacked up you should have plenty of movement to zero forward or aft. Most use the sight on the receiver not the rail. Its on the reciever, maybe I didn't clarify that, but it is on the reciever. |

Thanks guys for replying |
