Will any 30mm Scope ring mount work on aimpoints given you have the correct hight? I cant find my scope mount I want at a price I can afford at the moment so  I was hoping I could use a medium 30mm scope ring from Burris(extreme tactical rings)? Anyone ever do this?

If you go to www.google.com you can click on the top of the page where it says "Shopping". Type in the term "Aimpoint Mount" and click search. You will get MANY pages of Aimpoint mounts for sale. On the right side you can sort your results by "Price: low to high". You are bound to find an Aimpoint mount in your price range.

Once you know the make & model of mount that is in your price range, you could even search through AR15.com sponsors to see if they have the one you're looking for. SWFA, Brownells, etc...

I personally like to use a Cantilever mount with Aimpoints & other red dot sights.

Yes 30mm scope rings will work fine.   I have used a Burris X-treme to get mine really low.

30mm ring will work fine.  I also use a Burris XTR ring.

IIRC, an XTR high is absolute co-witness and extra-high is lower 1/3 co-witness.
