What is the crappiest optic possible; should one get:
1) NcStar
2) Barska
3) Leapers
4) UTG
5) BSA
6) Counter Sniper

I wish that I knew how to do a poll, but it really wouldn't matter; the regulars know why.

ETA: Please post your firsthand experience, as this is a tech forum.

i have a barska paid $50, mounted on a .22 mag imho its not that bad ....that being said its not that good either here is why
1 when you mount it with a little bit of pressure it seams like the whole body is going to crumble
2 the adjustments for the scope were tight
3 glass was not that clear

i also have a utg-leapers  3-9 rubber coated scopepaid $70, its not that ......oh wait sorry it is that bad and this is why it sucks.....
1 eye relief is the worst i have seen
2 adjustments are beyond tight .....you could break a nail tightening that thing
3 the mounts it came with suck....the screw broke in about a month of shooting it
4.you need a riser if you mount it on a ar
5 the thing weighted a ton

NC Star red dot. Put it on my son's airsoft gun and the internals broke while trying to zero it in the back yard. No amount of adjustment on either turret will move the dot at all. I don't even think they should qualify as "optics". They are toys, and even then they fail miserably.

Countersniper are horrible because:

1.  They are crap.
2.  I've seen people pay a lot of cash thinking that they are getting a good piece of glass.

At least with the others you know you are paying a few bucks for crap.

Tasco! I bought a 3-9x40 from wally world to put on a .22. After 1k rounds the reticle actually broke and it turned sideways. My friend also bought one of the 3-9x50 models and it only lasted about 500 rounds of .22.

That's good to know. I'm thinking of getting a BSA 4x30 tactical. They're pretty inexpensive. I'm just gonna use it as a range scope. Figure for 100 bucks it should be ok for plinking.
