I FINALLY saw a meprolight reflex sight in person today. I like it much better than the trijicon RX30...

Now, I just gotta decide if I really wanna replace my XPS Eotech with one... I could sell the Eotech to recoup some of the $$...

I still think the Eotech is a better CQC sight, but being battery free is pretty cool...

The realistic lifetime of the mepro is just 10 years, though... I've had one of my carbines for 5 years now... So, time  does zip by quickly... I had a 511 Eotech before I replaced it with an XPS in Jan 2010....  But, I think the XPS should last more than 10 years...

I have a Mep on my LMT M-4. It is fast, light weight and easy to use. I have owned about every red dot optic made other than an Elcan and would say that it is my favorite dot-ptic (if that is a word). No batteries and self dimming are two great features. I don't know what else to say but I like mine and I bet you will like yours.

Thx to its fiber optics, the Mepro is daylight-usable for as long as you own the optic and the tritium is usable way past 10yrs (even w/a 12yr half-life). Definitely an excellent KISS optic, which reticle did you play with?

The bullseye is the one I like and the one I saw. It's the only version that interests me....

I am still undecided, because this is for a PS90. And, by using the XPS Eotech, I can fit a Lasermax unimax on the optic rail in front of the Eotech. I would not be able to use the laser with the meprolight, unfortunately

That's all that is stopping me, really

It's 20 mm too long...

If I pick up another rifle in the future, I'll get one for sure... BUt, it's not gonna work on my current setup because of the extra length over the XPS
