I'm trying to figure out how to mount this on my fixed carry handle. I currently have an aimpoint pro mounted on there but wanted to add the 3x magnifier. Is there enough room on the rail or do i have to search for a different option?

I think ARMS makes a long piece of rail that can be attached to the carry handle which would conceivably give you enough room. I think a better option wold be a flat top with a cantilever mont for the PRO, but I understand if that's not doable.

Yeah unfortunately flat top is not an option. I know i can get the arms gooseneck but i wasnt sure how i would get the red dot and the magnifier to line up since the red dot would sit so much lower from the handle mounted magnifier.

I was referring to these options which should work fine:

A.R.M.S. #2
A.R.M.S. #2EXT

Theoretically the Arms #2 extended "should" work. I just wish i knew for sure before ordering the magnifier

I've tried all day to try and find a pic of this setup and nothing. Does anyone happen to have a pic of this?

Why is flat top not an option?

You can get a complete upper receiver tube for $100.00.

Change the barrel over and you now have allot more options and versatility.

Can you please explain a little more in depth? what exactly would i need to do a conversion like that?

Disclaimer: Not my picture. Picture was found on calguns.

I found this in a couple of minutes. Not an Aimpoint but same idea with EOTech. Looks to be plenty of room as the QRP2 mount will cover close to the same real estate as the EOTech.

All you need is a vice, an AR barrel wrench and a barrel or receiver block. It's fairly easy to do. Check the build it yourself forum.

And a roll pin punch to knock out the gas tube pin and a torque wrench for the barrel nut.

I agree that it looks odd but if the OP wants it, it's his rifle. Also, not to derail this thread, but an ACOG and RDS/magnifier aren't perfect substitutes.
