I just recieved my Burris PEPR with QD base and cannot for the life of me open the base. I have been following the directions to "push the latch sideways and pull handles to open" but they won't budge and I don't know how much pressure I should be using to pry them open cause I don't want to break anything.
Anybody have any experience with this? I looked around the net with no success. |

Are the levers somewhat loose in their current un-mounted state?
You either push the little buttons forward or backtoward the ends of the levers to release them......can't remember right now which. Mine release just fine. Did your's come with just railed caps or smooth and railed caps? |

OK so the trick is to lift up a little on the levers first and then slide the tabs to the side to release. They are a bit sticky. Got it now though.
Anywho, mounted up my Redfield 2-7x and it is great. Appears to return to zero when removed. Will have to confirm that at the range next week. |
