[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Aim point T1 Problem

I purchase this T1 last year and haven't had any problems with it until today. While shooting the dot disappears and reappears for a few more shots. Could this be a battery problem or should i be sending this back to aim point?

Before you tighten the cap, change the battery and clean the contact points. If it still happens after this you know its not battery related.

Saw this happen to a guy once at a class. It was the battery.

Very common. There is a very dense O-ring inside of the cap. Turn the switch max bright and tighten the cap. You will probably get 1/3 to 1/2 a turn more out of it. You won't even need to test fire. Just turn on the sight, look through the sight and drop your carrier a few times. if it still blinks call.

Tighten the battery cover as directed and it now works flawlessly. Thanks for all your help
