| Im wanting to get an Eotech for my AR, but there is alot of different models to choose from, im going to mainly use it for the range, maybe some hunting, can someone point out which eotech might be right for me? Also who has the best prices on them online? Thanks |

My first Eotech was the 516 model. I had it for about 2 years and had no problems with it. I ended up selling the rifle due to divorce. I waited awhile but eventually I had to sell the 516 as well.
Last year I was finally able to start replacing things. I got the new model XPS 2-0 for my new rifle. Again, no problems at all. I like the XPS models as they're smaller than my old 516 model. Plus, the transverse mounted battery should alleviate the shut off issues that some experienced. The 516 was bought from Top Gun Supply and the XPS came from DSG Arms. Id recommend either place. Both have top notch customer service, although DSG is cheaper for me with their LEO discount pricing. |

The reason is that the dots run together unless you magnify it. If you are not wanting to use a magnifier you can get the regular eotech 512 and save some money. |
