I have some flip up Troy Back Up Iron Sights on my AR and I have noticed the rear sight is a bit sticky. I was thinking of putting a few drops of CLR in the pivot to ease it up a bit. Has anyone ever had this problem and if so what did you do to resolve it? Thanks.

I've got three Troy BUIS, two are the standard model and my new latest one is the DOA diamond aperture version.

All of mine when new are tough to flip up and down, I just use a little of my SLiP 2000 EWL lube and it gets a little better, but it's still kind of snug but that's the way I like it.

The SLiP 2000 EWL from my several years experience with it is a very good lube for the entire gun.

Thank you! I have the DOA sights as well and I think are great. Thanks again.
