Has anyone used these? Looks interesting as I want to mount a micro red dot along with a 4-16 on my SPR.

Looks like they take up a lot of real estate, leaving no room for a BUIS. Anyone know?

You would be correct.  On my M4 carbine there is no room for buis.  The mount does take up a lot of real estate and sits too low.  It is a good solid mount.  I tried mounting a primary arms micro next to my scope and it wouldn't work.  Looks like it is designed more for an RMR type dot.  Hope this helps.

There is NO room for BUIS.. but depending on what you want to use the rifle for it may work for you.  I have a SWFA 3-9x42 mounted with target turrets.  I have been wondering how a reflex sight will work with the target turrets.  It's the windage turret that may be a problem if you are a right handed shooter and mount on the ejection side.  Some people have said to mount to the other side of the rifle but that is not real comfortable to tilt the rifle away from you instead of rolling on your cheekweld towards you for a quick close shot.  I will update once I get the reflex sight mounted.  I think i'm going to go with a burris Fastfire II.
