I've liked the UltraDot for years.  A nice solid RDS.  Recoil resistant, weatherproof.

Not an Amipoint, but it does not claim to be and at $150 it is better than most.

+1. If you're not concerned that it doesn't resemble some popular military sight, it's a good choice. I've also used one for years. Battery life is nowhere as good as an Aimpoint, but it's rugged and dependable.

I had an UltraDot years ago.  Wish I'd never sold it.

The dot was MUCH better formed than the dot on ANY Aimpoint I've ever seen.  Round & uniform, not starred and blotchy.

I have an Ultradot.  I bought it for my .22's but I slapped it on the AR for fun and it held up fine.  It is good quality for the money.  Get the 30mm for AR, 1" for pistols.

These look good! I have an old Tasco PDP Comp 5 that has been on most of my pistols and rimfires. It's so used that the rheostat doesn't click anymore, but it still sees me through competitions. One reason I like it is the four dot sizes and these have a model that offers that. Cool
