If he wants more than a PA then I don't see the point.

To buy a clone of an EOtech means you are buying it simply for looks. EOtechs are holographic (different technology) and use a laser to display the reticle. A clone will use an LED and that technology is no different than any red dot.

As others have said, Primary Arms gets very good reviews on here, check them out

I have a Primary Arms muti-reticule M4 and I think it is great for the money (and the customer service I have gotten has been consistently some of the best I have ever gotten).  The optic has held zero over thousands of rounds and me beating the rifle up.

for what it is worth

+1 on the Primary Arms. If you are buying a clone then this is a good sight. Very satisfied with my M3 clone.

Please post pics once you get it mounted on your Sig

A few months ago I bought my daughter a Sig 522 as a graduation present-what a great rifle!

As you know, the 522s aren't coming with any kind of sights from the factory-so I loaned my daughter an Aimpoint and LaRue mount taken from one of my ARs. Now she doesn't want to give it back

I've been looking long and hard at the optics from PA, and they seem like a perfect solution. Once you get yours I'd love to hear your feedback if you don't mind.

Thank you in advance!

Here's my daughter's Sig:
