Hi guys and girls;
I'm interested in a new scope for my AR-15, M-4 carbine in 5.56 cal. I saw an ad in a magazine for a Nikon, M-223 scope with a choice of Nikoplex or BDC 600 rectical specifically designed for the AR-15 and Remington 55 gn 223 ammo although using a 20" barrel at about 3250 fps which I don't think the M-4,16" barrel can match. But I've been looking and I'd like to know if there are other long range variable power scopes out there designed just for the AR-15 or .223/5.56 ammo in a 16" barrel M-4 carbine configuration? I like, when I'm able, to shoot long range steel targets and I just loved shooting at the Whitington Center out in Raton, NM at their many (12) target ranges. I was there for a week and It was my most memorable trip and shooting experiance ever. |
