I am on a limited budget.

SO far the choices are

Mueller

or

Votex

or

Simmons

I want a scope I can use for coyotes and deer. I have a red dot already so I fugured some bigger glass would make the AR a bit more versatile. Any other suggestions?

Check out SWFA's Sample list.  They have open box buys with warranty for big savings.   www.samplelist.com

I would check out some of the Nikon's as they are much better glass than the ones you have listed, and on the sample list you can get a decent one for under $160.

Which Vortex? I have a Vaortex Viper 6.5-20x44 that has the best glass I have seen in an under $1k scope. Mine cost $399.99 and is a SFP scope. The turrets are capped, but have very good clicks and is repeatable. In other words if you dial in 2moa you get 2moa.  I got mine with a mildot reticle and have it on my .308. It will do everything I ask it to do. The next step up, in my opinion, would be a FFP scope, but that is an expensive step.
The Viper also comes in a 50mm objective that cost $499.99 that might be a little better for near dark hunting, but the 44mm is plenty bright. The scope is very clear.
