Guys, I am looking to trade some gear for the following Aimpoint Comp 2 from a local seller. I think the AImpoint might be a fake, but some professional opinions would be welcomed in case I have to tell the guy that this is a no deal. Here are the photos:

Fake!

The pressed/stamped serial number gives it away.

Yeah, I'd have to vote fake. On a real Aimpoint, "Aimpoint" is in dark grey and the serial is in white. The cover strap should also have Aimpoint imprinted on it as well as the caps.

10338 is the part number for the ML2 and not M2. 240944 is a repeating serial number. FAKE!
