New to this. Looking at using a LaseLyte boresighter to zero optics. Red dot, 4x16 and MBUS. Will it work? How well? Any suggestions?

Thanks

I can't speak for that particular model, but boresighters in general are good to get you "on paper" at a hundred yards.

Definately wouldn't consider boresighting to be good 'nuff.

It works but not perfect, it will get you close but not dead center, you'll have to fine tune it at the range.

I've got the older red laser model and I use them on my AR builds before heading out to the target range, it usually gets me within two to three inches to the center of the target at 50 yards.

After I zero at 50 yd then I verify my zero at 100 and 200 yd and make final minor adjustments if necessary.

I use the laserlyte the green one. It works for me it gets u close  on the paper. I use this bore sight for all my optics. Laser it in then shoot and check it and adjust from there. I really like mine. Also you will be surprise how far the green laser goes. I sight in at 100yd.

I've used the Laserlyte to get on paper using my BUIS on my AR and was only a few inches shy of dead center at 50 yards.

Works well to get you started.

Thanks for the replies. That was pretty much what I thought. As long as I can get on paper I can make the final adjustments in the field. Just wanted to make sure I had not wasted $50 bucks that I could have spent on ammo.
