| guys im going to get the strikefire and just wanted to know which mount to get and how it lines up with a A2 front sight. This is for my first ar and I plan on getting a flip up for the rear. So will this all work and do you have any suggestions. |
| If you get the package with the high mount included it works fine. Not overly fancy but bulky and seems quite solid. I ordered from primary arms and had them include a cantilever mount for an extra 10 bucks. Not a big name brand item either, probably chinese made but also seems like it does the job. I'd go that route if you ever plan on adding a magnifier. You could also check the EE, gunbroker or Ebay for surplus (?) aimpoint mounts with the riser included. They fit the strikefire as well from what i understand. I've seen them rather cheap, but they look like they could use a bit of moly resin or duracoat to look shiney new. |
