I have a TA 32 .223 trijicon that I would like to mount on a RRA flat top LAR 15. It used to be on my GSE M-4 (carry handle mount) and worked great, but I want to mount it on my RRA but liked having it mounted at the height of the carry handle. I bought a carry handle for the RRA but it moves too much and the sight never stays set. Any other options to mount it higher than the base it came with? Maybe more tactical than the mount it came with?

you just need to add a riser rail.  I believe that RRA and Yankee Hill makes them.  It's pretty tall and is the length of the upper rail.

Anyone make a good true QD carry handle?

I haven't seen one personally, but that sounds like it would solve the problem. Well that or become accustom to a good mount like LaRue, etc...
