Will the Armalite scope mounts clear a troy buis? Does Armalite (or anyone else) make a scope ring rail top for Armalite like the burris P.E.P.R., I want to mount a speed dot on top of my scope ring?

The Armalite mount is very low( 1.250" - is lower than the irons) and doesn't allow much room for a BUIS. If your scope has a small eyepiece, you might be able to fit a Midwest Industries SPLP under it (folded height .4375").

The only thing that fits under my TRS1 in an Armalite mount is a Kac 300m. It has a very large eye piece though, other scopes may clear a BUIS easier. I think Larue makes a clamp on rail for the scope that may do the trick.
