Thinking about getting this unit for my AR-15 Del-Ton M4

What mount would I need to get and would you put a folding rear sight on ?

What he said. You are probably going to want a Larue mount anyway, so you would save some by getting the package.

Does the Larue cantilever mount have any benefits over the standard mount aside from making your wallet $25 lighter?

Of course it does.

- It offsets the sight foreward so that you have more room to put other glass behind it - i.e. magnifiers and night vision.

- It has the quick release lever for fast breakdown and assembly.
