So after some time I have decided to purchase an Acog (TA31 series). However Im kinda specific on how I want my AR set up. I would like to have the Acog mounted as low as possible on the rifle. I have a double star flat top carbine AR that im in love with and Im very particular with not having a frakenstein AR with 20 different manufactors items on the AR... Currently I have all Double Star furniture and GG&G flip up BUIS. I would like to stay away from purchasing other companies but again my main concern is mouting the Acog as low as possible with a quality mount. Would the factory mount from Trijicon work? any suggestions are welcome....

oh the main reason I would like to go with the TA31 series is because its the smallest in length with good magnification to me.

and if it dont look right....................aimpoint comp ml3 2 moa with fts magnification

Have you checked Larue's LT 100 QD?

How ridiculous.  Get rid of the cheap GG&G sight then if you want the name brands to match.

If you are hung on namebrand and visuals, the LaRue mount has a cleaner look than the Triji mount - Levers stick out less than thumb screws. Also, the lever is more positively locking.
