I'm trying to decide on a Tritium from sight. Any advice?

I like the XS 24/7 Sights because they have the white circle around the tritum. However they appear to be wider.

Also on the XS sights I don't see how they can be fine tuned adjusted without only being able to adjust the sight in 360 degree turns?

Am I missing something?

The Meprolight and Trijicon sight appear to swivel on the base so that you can get full use out of each detent adjustment.

Thanks

I have the XS ones. They are marked trijicon, FWIW.

I can only adjust 360degrees at a time, thats correct. But I'm ok with that, personally. If you want super accuracy, maybe these ones arent for you. I VERY much like the rear sight they have. It isnt so bright that it overwhelms. As they say, its subdued.

Have you looked into the TFO ones for the front? At least they allow you to adjust correctly and not by the full turn

i had an XS one and it was def too big of a dot. the Trijicon brand ones look a little better and for my new set of flip-ups ill prolly go with teh Trijicon.

I have the Trijicon.I find it to wide at longer distances which bit me in the butt at a carbine course at USTC.Also when we did do night exercises, the smoke from the barrel made the illuminated insert useless.Even in the shoot house with low light,I cant say it made any difference. My weapons mounted light worked best.Thats just my opinion.I am taking it off of my rifle if you want to try it PM me your address.Cheers
