Considering an ACOG for coyotes.  I live in NC and with all the swamps and cutdowns most of my shots are max 150 to 200 yds, with most shots running around 75 to 100 yds.  I currently use 4.5-14 Burris, acquisition and field of view are impaired at that distance.  Thoughts that a 4x Acog would do the trick.  Would appreciate input on a model to start looking.  Will be mounted on mid-length flattop.

I got rid of my 3x ACOG with chevron reticle because I was missing coyotes that I would normally drop easy with a traditional cross-hair. The NSN has a cross-hair reticle. If you are going to be making quick shots on small animals at 75 out to over 100 yards I would stick with a cross hair.

I am sure with practice I might of improved with the chevron. Just not ideal for hunting things smaller and quicker than a man - IMHO.
