Everyone,
When I look on Trijicons website I see they have options in the accessories department for Pelican cases. My question is what do they ship these things to your house with? I am looking at a TA31 RCO ACOG that runs at store for around $1,300 and want to know it it will be shipped in a cardboard box or if they come with a Pelican case. I see the RCO has a padded pouch, I hope they don't plan to send me a $1,300 part in a pouch. Marc |

Try here –– www.4scopes.com Damn...that site says the CHEAPER AOCGs like the TA31A/F/H series come with a pelican case yet the most expensive RCO comes with a freaking padded pouch. F-that, I'll just get a TA31H-G. I would think the RCO would have a pelican case also, damn. Has anyone bought a RCO latley? |

Seriously? +1 My older 11F came in a hard plastic case similar to a Doskocil, but my understanding is that the newer ones all come in Pelicans. Hopefully, the 11J will come in a mini-Peli, so that I can add that to the other six larger ones. My NF's, AP's, and Leupy's have all come in very nice cardboard boxes....I guess that I should get rid of those trashy optics, since they didn't have the right packaging. |

Have you ever had a UPS or FEDEX package arrive at your house beat to hell. Yeah, case closed. |

And if you're too cheap to pay an additional $20 for shipping an $1,000 optic, you shouldn't be buying it in the first place. |

It is a crosshair reticle 11 to be put on my suppressed 6.8 SBR hog rig for daylight ops....it has only been on order since the beginning of August. TA-11J Do you have one? |

I'm kicking around the idea of picking up either another ACOG or an Accupoint to augment my AP Micro / Magnifier combo. I'm leaning more in the direction of the Accupoint, though. I just wasn't hip as to what the "Julie" model was. Thanks for the link. |

It came in a box with packing peanuts and inside that box was my pouch and inside that was the acog and killflash. and guess what... the scope works fine. Bought a ta31f this week and it came in a pelican case. acogs are gtg if they stuck the tracking sticker right on the outside of the f-ing lense lol. |

I bought a TA31F new and it came in a small padded Pelican case. I bought a TA31RCOand it came in the desert colored padded case with molle attachment straps. I believe that it the packaging that was used when these were shipped to the Marines. Both cases are stowed away and have no impact on my usage of the optic. |

Well I'm going to go with the RCO anyway. I will have insurance on the shipping so I'm not too worried. I have also decided to just wait for Larue to get them in stock. His acog + mount combo is hard to freaking beat. For $1,292 you get the RCO and a Larue mount, win, win, win!!! I wanted one ASAP but now I prefer to wait and get a quality mount included with my acog from Larue. |
| I've ordered 2 ACOGs from Midway and you'll be gtg. The ACOG themselves come with their original Pelican case, plus Midway will probably stick it in a big box stuffed with plastic bubble stuff that you can find littered around my house. Like someone mentioned earlier, ACOGs can take one hell of a beating. |

Called Trijicon and they said RCOs do not come with Pelican cases. I'm have made up my mind to just wait for the RCOs to come in stock at Larue. They said they hope for them to come in this month. Mine from LaRue came in the tan pouch (not pelican case) and was GTG |
| Hell, I wish they would just send them all in a pouch. Cut $50 retail off the price. I'll never use the Pelican case to transport an ACOG. I'll probably never use the case for anything else either, so it just sits around. In the event I want to sell the ACOG, it would be a major sticking point to prospective buyers because "I don't have the freaking Pelican case to send it in!" |

Well I purchased one today from Larue. I will just wait for mine to come in. I got the RCO model and from reading every ones post I can see I was over reacting about the sensitivity of the scope. Thank you for all your comments.
On the other hand, some of you people need to lighten the f%&$ up, I'm new so give me a break...damn. |
