I am looking for an Inexpensive scope ($200) for a varmint rifle. I will be shooting 100/200 yds 99% of the time. Nothing longer available locally. I am building a J&T 24" bull barrel kit and would like to get a scope that has good glass and meets my budget. I can go more but prefer not to. This will be for informal target shooting. I was looking at an 8x25 Mueller scope but have since read some negative comments. I usually shoot iron sights but my 55 year old eyes could use some help. Any recommendations for scope power and models is appreciated. I am not in the market for a $1,000 scope.
Thanks, Ken

This should be a good one.  The Weaver Classic V series are good optics for the monery.  I have one of these with the duplex reticle.
