I did the search and didn't find what I was looking for, so I'll try here. I have three .308s that need scopes mounted, and I want quick release mounts, or at a minimum mounts that will remount and hold zero. My problem is money, of course. Two of the rifles are DPMS and the third is a nicely tuned PTR91 from JLD. I'd like to buy three quick release mounts from Larue, but along with two triggers for the DPMS guns, we're well over a grand. She almost crapped when I showed her the S&W Model 27 no dash I just purchased as an "investment". The wife will do an inhouse vasectomy if she catches me! I'd like one piece mounts if possible, but the major concern is keeping the scopes zeroed when remounted.. One of the DPMS rifles is an AP4 and I already have mounted a Leupold Mk4 CQ/T on a custom quick release mount. I want to be able to remove it and put on higher power optics if desired.
