I have just completed my fisrt build. (Thanks for the info!) It's a little late since I've pulled the trigger and ordered the stuff already, but I would like some feedback on my setup.
16" standard midlength bcm barrel Cmt flattop upper lauer custom lower magpul ctr millspec stock yankee hill single rail gas block cav arms c8 handguards CMT lpk kns pin set (hammer pin kept walking out during dryfire) pri big latch tango down battlegrip magpul trigger guard Magpul asap kns sling post Remainder Misc Oly parts That's the rifle. My only AR-15 (for now) My goal was to build a rifle that I could use to cover my 6 at home and from the truck, plus zap coyotes in the off time. Here's where the compromise comes in. I opted for a Leupold vx-3 1.75-6X Heavy duplex and a DNZ forward mount I know it's not a larue and z6, but it took me 22mos to finish acquiring partsfor my build. Way out of my price range. Did I go to high on the low end? |
