| What is the "Revision F" and non "Revision F'' versions of the 552? There is one for sale in EE, and it is listed as non-Revision F. Just wondering what the difference is. |

Probably a Revision E or earlier. I currently run a 512F. Battery life is rated at 1100 hours with Lithium AA. I had a 552E and that was rated for 600 hours using Lithium AA.
I did test a 552F and 512F with a PVS-14 monocular mounted on the gun. The 552F NV settings made for a very faint reticle at the highest setting, while the 512F on the lowest setting made for a usable reticule and I don't think it will hurt the PVS-14 if used for brief periods. |
