| I just ordered a Vortex Strikefire for my GSG-5SD. I recently found that some people had issues with the dot not being bright enough for outdoor use. Has this issue been resolved? For those of you who own the Strikefire, is the dot brightness an issue for you? |

We've happily replaced any that weren't bright enough if the customer contacts us and lets us know, so I don't think you have anything to worry about. I don't think they are quite as bright as the EOTech or Aimpoint, but I know that they are bright enough for daytime use. Got it today! Fit and finish is very nice, and it mounted great on my GSG-5SD.
Brightness seems adequate, I don't think I'll have a problem with it. The dot is kind of splotchy though, looking at it up close it almost looks like a triangle with a hole in the middle. Also it seems more orange than red? I'll sight it in this weekend. Overall, it seems very promising. |

I was looking at other sights, but the overwhelming positive positive option of Vortex, along with the great CS the company show here won my over. I'm glad they did, too. I really love my StrikeFire. |

you guys also have a honeycomb glare filter now correct? that should solve a lot of the problems with reduced vis
