[ARCHIVED THREAD] - TA-51 Screw Head Question

Are the screw heads flush with the inside surface of the mount? I bought a TA-51 on EE and cannot mount it on a Colt rail because, I think, the screw heads extend below the inside surface of the mount, keeping the mount from sitting flush on the rail.

What am I doing wrong?

I believe mine are flush, the mount wouldn't sit straight on the receiver otherwise..

Yeah. That's what I was afraid of...

Now i have to buy the proper screws.

When I had mine I just ground off the rounded part at the top of the head of the screw and it worked out fine.

I have a better idea, call Trijicon on Monday, they'll either sell or give you the screws
