I'm planning on putting a 1.5X5 Leupold on my next M4 type build.

Any ideas on ring height I would need??

Am planning on using Leupold's Quick detachable rings.. Thanks

Will you have a shaved down/folding front sight?

I will have the standard A2 front sight,

I have had no trouble with these in combination with ACOGs

Leupold high rings will still be low unless you get the 1/2" riser from Yankee Hill or someone, you also will have to get a riser that pushes the front ring over the handguard to get enough eye relief. That would be your most economical bet, there is always the LaRue but there is a reason they are $195

I looked at the Yakee Hill site and didn't find any risers for ARs.

I have seen some in the Brownells cat. are these any good??

What and where would you guys get a riser for a scope on an M4 type ?? thanks
