I have an MBUS front sight and ARMS 40 rear sight. When zeroing my sights, I found that the front sight post sits really high when zeroed. Is anyone else experiencing the same?

It isn't mounted on a gas block by any chance, is it?

no, It's mounted on my quad rail.

Mine's "high" too. Works fine though just looks a little suspect but I'm sure that is just how it is.

By high you mean the flat part sits above the base?

A friend of mine bought a set and said the same thing. Then I remembered something from the Magpul class. Chris Costa marks a little green or red line on every ones front site just below the post as a reference for sight over bore in a QCB scenario.

I dont know if thats why its like that but that was my explanation.
