| I recently aquired a DMPS Low Pro Classic with the heavy barrel. I would like to get flip up iron sights as a "back up" to my rifle scope. The front rail is on the gas block, but it is lower than the rail that is on top of the upper. Which sights work for this set up..? Sorry in advance for the noob question.. |
Any front sight that says it's for use on a gas block will work. See the difference here for example?
The one on the left is for gas blocks. Midwest Industries Many different manufacturers, as long as it says it's for a gas block rail, it should work... |

I've got a couple MI fronts (rail mounted) that work just fine, and aren't insanely high in price...
Look around on the EE or (gasp!) ebay... just make sure it's not airsoft parts. I've got an ARMS 40-L rear on one gun and it folds down nice and low to clear the scope eyepiece. |
