I am trading for a M2 in an ADM mount for my M4 carbine, and a Aimpoint Comp M for my SOCOM 16. I will be using the Comp M until I can save enough for a H1. Anyway, can a rubber coat be used on the Comp M, what about flip caps, what about caps that have the rubber hanger––can they all be used on the Comp M?

What is the battery life for a Comp M, any major draw backs of the Comp M that I need to be aware of?

I too am interested in the response. I recently obtained an Aimpoint comp M for a spikes .22 build I am working on and had the same questions.

Yes to everything, and the battery life is still very good. My M2 is 6 yrs old and only on it's 2nd battery.
