I need some help from all you black rifle experts. I bought a Noveske with a fixed front sight post during the Obama scare. I'd rather had bought a flat top but supply was scarce.
My main question is, if I bought a variable scope with a true 1x, would I still be able to see the front sight post?

I mainly want to use this setup coyote hunting but for home defense too. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

At 1x the post would look a little blurry but you would be able to see it.

Thanks Mike. Any idea if I should maybe use a high mount so long as it doesn't effect cheek weld?

Mount height will affect cheek weld. No way around that. The front sight is not very distracting while shooting, so I wouldn't worry about it.
